THIS IS HAMBURG!
Nowadays the Hamburg Fish Market is legendary and one of the most popular attractions for every visitor to Hamburg. The Altona Fish Auction Hall with its appealing location and services is a magnet in the middle of it all:
Every Sunday from 5:00 a.m. (in the winter from 6:00 a.m.) night owls, who have found their way to the Elbe River from the nearby Reeperbahn, as well as early risers, begin to roam here.
Breakfast on one of the galleries with live music and a view of the hustle and bustle of the
Altonaer Fischauktionshalle is one of the highlights of a visit to the Fish Market. On the ground floor, vendors with Fischbrötchen (rolls with fish), Krabben (prawns), Matjes (soused young herring), cold and hot drinks supply you with all the food and drink necessary for your well-being.
On Sunday, 18th June 2017, the fishauction hall is opened from 06:00 - 12:00 am.
On Sunday, 17th September 2017, there will be no fishmarket or musical entertainment IN the fishauction hall. The fishmarket itself will still take place.
