Today Hamburg’s fish market is truly legendary and one of the most popular attractions for everyone visiting the city of Hamburg. The Altonaer Fischauktionshalle with its attractive offers is quite the special highlight:

One of the main highlights of visiting the fish market is having brunch on the galeries with amazing live music and an exciting view over all the events going on in the Altonaer fish vendue hall. Experience fishmen offering their catch, and numerous vendor stalls with fish buns, crabs, matjes and cold and hot beverages, that will warm your heart.

Every sunday from around 5.00 a.m. (during winter at around 6.00 a.m.) lots of people - early birds and night crawlers from the nearby Reeperbahn -come to the river Elbe to bustle around and enjoy the place.

Top off your visit to Hamburg’s the fish market with a brunch at the Altonaer Fischauktionshalle! Our fish market brunch starts every sunday at 5.30 a.m. (6.00 a.m. during winter) to 12.00 a.m. and is only 22€ per person.

  • Plate with several sausages

    Salami, air-dried ham with melon, smoked turkey and onion minced pork meat.

  • Vegetarian dishes

    Antipasti, tomatoes with mozzarella cheese and basil-pest.

  • The hearty dish

    Roasted meat with coleslaw, turkey with mushrooms, roasted meat, roasted sausages with mustard, egg with ham, roasted potatoes, potato gratin, boiled eggs.

  • Sweets and Cheese

    Red berry compote with vanilla sauce, chocolate mousse fruit salad, brie, bavaria blu, nuts und cheese, cream cheese nature and with herbs, several different jams, honey and nutella, cornflakes and cereal with milk, joghurt.

    Red and white salad of herring, rollmop.

    Smoked salmon with red cole, graved salmon with mustard-dip, mackerels potpourri.

Die vier professionellen Musiker haben über die Jahre viel Erfahrung auf deutschen Bühnen gesammelt und besitzen ein feines Gespür dafür, was das Publikum will.
